Swart and Sons was founded on our solid plastering skills. We have worked on most of Adelaide's heritage building over the past 60 years. We are still know as Swart plastering, today we specialise in heritage works mainly with a team of dedicated tradesmen who just love plastering old buildings.

Some of Recent Projects:

1. Baulderstone HNA 1 and 2 this project was for the  Australian Army's new battalions relocating to Adelaide's northern suburbs. We did over $250,000.00 dollars in traditional plastering to shower blocks, toilets and service areas. yes solid plaster on blockwork!!
We also rendered Australia's first squash courts for 6 years! The tolerance for the walls was plus or minus 1mm, it was fair to say our team were a little nervous when the clerk of works put the straight edge on the walls, but we passed. the squash courts had a special cement render which was extremely hard to apply but the surface is magnificent.

2.  In 2012 we combined with Tagara Builders to restore the St Peters Library! This project took 12 months and involved everything from walls to ceilings with traditional methods and materials. The finished project speaks volumes for our commitment and skills when it comes to heritage plaster works.
