Introduction

Swart and Sons will not discriminate against any person on the basis of gender, age, race, colour, political views, social origin or disability in the areas of employment, termination, promotion, demotion, work assignment, or training.

Policy

It is the responsibility of all supervisors, employees, and contractors to ensure that no person is discriminated against on the above grounds. This includes indirect discrimination.

Procedure

Management and all supervisors have a responsibility to be aware of relevant legislation and to ensure that it is adhered to in all circumstances. South Australian has specific legislation (Equal Opportunity Act 1984) covering discrimination and equal opportunity. Appropriate Federal legislation will apply where an area is not specifically covered by this Act.
