ISO certification

Swart & Sons have always striven to deliver the best products, services and outcomes to our clients. We achieve this through providing industry-standard services and products, consistently-delivered, so you know that when you commission Swart & Sons to perform work for you, you can expect a favourable outcome every single time.

Our recently-earned ISO certifications are formal recognition of the high quality and consistency of our services, provided by an independent third party after a rigourous review process and in line with worldwide standards.

We have received certification in three important areas:

ISO 9001 - Quality Management System

ISO 9001 is a globally recognised standard for quality management. It helps organisations of all sizes and sectors - including our own - to improve performance, meet customer expectations and demonstrate our commitment to quality. Its requirements define how to establish, implement, maintain and continually improve a quality management system (QMS). Implementing ISO 9001 means we have put in place effective processes and trained staff to deliver flawless products and services time after time.

ISO 14001 - Environmental Management System

ISO 14001 is the internationally recognised standard for environmental management systems (EMS). It provides a framework for us to design and implement an EMS and continually improve our environmental performance. By adhering to this standard, we can ensure we are taking proactive measures to minimize our environmental footprint, comply with relevant legal requirements, and achieve our environmental objectives. The framework encompasses various aspects, from resource usage and waste management to monitoring environmental performance and involving stakeholders in environmental commitments.

ISO 45001 - Occupational Health & Safety Management System

ISO 45001 is an international standard that specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system. It provides a framework for us to manage risks and improve our OH&S performance.

The standard establishes criteria for an OH&S policy, objectives, planning, implementation, operation, auditing and review. Key elements include leadership commitment, worker participation, hazard identification and risk assessment, legal and regulatory compliance, emergency planning, incident investigation and continual improvement.

Benefits to clients

The granting of these certifications is validation of our commitment to the delivery of high quality products and services, protection of our environment and ensuring the safety of our workers and our clients' workers. It is also your assurance that we will continue to deliver the best service, environmental protection and safety in order to maintain our certification in the years to come.
